Before you register..Test your PC
First, ensure that your PC and connection meet the minimum requirements to run the online 02 Certificate Class. The requirements are listed below.
MINIMUM Requirements:
- A Windows PC running Windows® XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows Vista
- Firefox 2.1 or higher (recommended) or Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
- Flash Player 6.0.79 or later (you may already have this - click here to see which version you have).
- A Broadband Internet connection - Cable, DSL, Satellite, or Fiber-Optic (for example: Verizon Online VIOS) NOTE: Dial-up is not supported
- A network that does not "block" MP3 files in its router/firewall. (Many business and Internet Cafés block downloading of MP3 music files in order to prevent file sharing. For this reason it is better to do the online course at home.)
RECOMMENDED:
- A Windows PC running Windows® XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows Vista
- Firefox 3.0 or higher
- Flash Player 9.0.24.0 for Windows or later (click here to see which version you have).
- A Broadband Internet connection supporting at least a 1MB download and 256KB upload speed. Click here to test your Internet speed.
Note: if you are on a wireless network, make sure you have a very strong signal. The speed of the network is greatly reduced when you have a weak signal.

- Speakers to hear the audio portion of the course.
Next, you need to test your PC and connection to make sure the course will run OK. The online course will run on 99% of the PCs that meet the requirements but because there are so many things that can affect a multimedia course like ours, the best way to ensure it will work is to test it. Click on the link below to start a short "test course". If the test is successful, you can proceed to registration.
If your test is NOT successful, that is, your PC cannot complete all the pages, or gets stuck, please review the recommended configuration explained above and ensure your PC complies.
